Monaco pulsed to the rhythm of sport on Monday 20 October 2025, as the Principality hosted the 36th edition of the SPORTEL Awards at the Grimaldi Forum — a night celebrating the emotion, excellence and universal beauty of sport.
Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, and broadcast live on TV Monaco, the ceremony offered an exceptional showcase of human stories, achievements and breathtaking sporting imagery.

From the moment the blue carpet unfurled, champions, filmmakers, artists and distinguished guests stepped into an atmosphere of elegance, energy and passion. The Golden Podiums once again spotlighted the talent of directors and producers who transform athletic emotion into unforgettable visual art, rewarding the year’s most powerful sports moments. The Sports Book Prize Renaud de Laborderie was awarded to Rainer W. Schlegelmilch - Porsche racing moments for the best sports publication of the year.

Presided over by tennis icon Henri Leconte, the 2025 jury brought together a remarkable panel of sporting and creative figures, including Allison Pineau, handball legend and CNOSF representative ; Masomah Ali Zada, Afghan cyclist, Olympic Refugee Team member and Peace and Sport ambassador ; Lonsana Doumbouya, Guinean international footballer ; Emmanuelle Lacaze, president of Gédéon agency ; Robert Colle, vice-president of the Monaco Ski Federation and member of the Monaco Olympic Committee ; Stéphane Le Goff , senior reporter; and Jean-Denis Walter, former director of photography and co-editor-in-chief of L’Équipe Magazine.
