Monte-Carlo Television Festival and Producers Guild of America collaborate on virtual panel discussion: Betting on international co-productions: The path forward

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival and the Producers Guild of America are collaborating on a one-time only, virtual conversation on international television co-productions. Betting on International Co-Productions: The Path Forward, will take place Wednesday, December 9 2020, 11am Pacific on Zoom.

The event is being offered free-of-charge to all PGA members and industry professionals.

The conversation brings together a who’s who of international producers and buyers including:

  • Rola Bauer, President, International Television Production, MGM
  • Gareth Neame, Executive Chairman, Carnival Films
  • Jane Root, Founder and Chief Executive Producer, Nutopia
  • Christian Vesper, President, Global Drama, Fremantle

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival will celebrate its 60th anniversary edition June 18-22, 2021, after taking a pause in 2020 due to the novel coronavirus. Originally created by Prince Rainier III of Monaco, and now under the Honorary Presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Festival brings together each year the very best of television content from around the world. The 2021 consumer festival will also feature an expanded business track for the global television industry.
